Determine reasons for overdue payments and reviewed terms of sales, service or credit contracts
Sort and file correspondence; perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering phone calls and writing reports
Verify account information and collect payments over the phone in the event that a customer is prepared to pay
Record information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts
Perform other tasks and duties assigned from time to time as necessary to support the department
