Duties and functions:

Ensure that delivery requirements are met as per schedule.
Organize and maintain the inventory and storage area of palm olein
Ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions
Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Check tanker truck’s efficiency through monitoring of proper maintenance to keep it running smoothly
Coordinate with truck drivers on the condition of the trucks. Inspect, evaluate, and recommend solutions on any and every item deemed necessary for improvement
Maintain a logbook and update records/activities of company’s tanker trucks including repairs and maintenance done
Check and maintain terminal equipment such as engine motor pumps, hoses, hangers, manifolds, and others are always in good condition and performance
Monitor and check licenses and permits of tanker trucks
Supervise, direct, evaluate, and schedule the work activities of the terminal assistant
Coordinate with third party representative on the works to be done relative to terminal activities
Measure and report the effectiveness of terminal activities and employee performance
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

Duties and functions:

Prepare daily production reports (DPR) for refinery and pouch section
Conduct analysis of received commodities (palm olein and PFAD) and withdrawals or load outs of palm olein and PFAD
Conduct sample testing of palm oil (raw materials) to check FFA, color, and peroxide value for comparison with the finished product before the process of refinery starts
Conduct hourly monitoring of the FFA percentage, color, iodine value, peroxide value and other parameters required for palm olein and PFAD sample taken from refinery production and provide regular information on sample results plant officer in‐charge
Conduct hourly monitoring of palm olein and PFAD sample produced for color reading using Lovibond tintometer
Inform plant officer in‐charge immediately of any abnormal observation on the samples and log this in the daily laboratory analysis and prepare the actual report
Analyze the finished product and compare its specifications and quality with that of the specifications before the refining process
Analyze processes and special samples brought to the laboratory based on established procedures
Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished goods thru visual and olfactory inspections, as well as sample testing for the daily production report and for appropriate product blending
