Duties and functions:

Conduct sample testing of vegetable oil (raw materials) to check FFA, color and peroxide value for comparison with the finished product before the process of refinery starts;
Do hourly sample testing during in-process to monitor the quality of the product being processed and provide regular information on sample results to the shift coordinator;
Inform shift coordinator immediately of any abnormal observation on the samples and log this in the daily laboratory analysis and prepare the actual report for the shift;
Analyze the finish product and compare its specifications and quality with that of the specifications before the refining process;
Analyze processes and special samples brought to the laboratory based on established procedures;
Monitor direction of storage of oil products as well as quality of oil products in each of the storage tanks for proper segregation;
