Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the writing of or writes and edits text for informative and instructional articles for FAB newsletter, FAB radio program, electronic data base publications brochures and similar materials or supervises the same;
Assists in the planning and/or executing layout of work, placement of graphics design and arrangement of sequence of topics as applicable in information materials and publication such as magazines, brochures, tarpaulins, poster etc. ;
Assists in the writing, evaluates and recommends IEC policies, programs and projects and in implementation thereof;
Writes technical and administrative reports and business communication such as memos and letters;
Participates in the formulation, consolidation and writing of the group of action plan;
Manages FAB’s e-mail correspondents and electronically uploads data for electronic database publications and/or downloads for the same reference;
Collects and organize data, including gathering and sorting of source and background materials from websites, newspaper etc. ;
Participate in the planning for the provision of and/or providing technical and administrative requirements for communication plans;
Media documentation of institutional events/projects and any other related events or requested by the higher authorities;
Coordinates with media correspondents, entertains “walk in” or phone queries of internal and external publics on matter of public information and/or directs them to proper information sources;
Manages the FAB related blogs and social networking sites; and
Performs such other duties as may be assigned by higher authorities from time to time.
