(1) Control Room Operator Unit Plant

Male/Female
College graduate, Technical / Engineering
With minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in the power generation industry in the operation of unit plant (2 years as an assistant plant operator and 2 years in a plant operator position 1 year as assistant control room operator)
Successfully completed the basic, intermediate and advanced simulator training courses and found competent to operate a unit control panel by a team of subject matter experts
Must have proficient knowledge of power generation technology and in particular for the plant where he/she will be required to operate
With good interpersonal, communication and motivational skills with a flexible, enthusiastic and committed attitude to work
With excellent command in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Duties and Functions:

Operate plant in accordance with the plant operating technical specifications
Monitor the continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) and continuous opacity monitoring system (COMS) and maintain limits under DENR standards
Identify deviation from standards, investigate and recommend and / or implement corrective actions
Perform routine testing and operating of plant as per the approved procedures, work instructions, plant maintenance schedules, etc. and determine availability of standby plant at all times
Maintain an accurate chronological log of all operating, incidents, occurrences and other activities while on shift
Responsible in monitoring usage of light fuel oil (LFO) and work power during start-up and shut down

(1) Superintendent Materials Handling

Male/Female
College graduate, Technical / Engineering
Must be professional regulation commission licensed
With previous management experience is an advantage
Has working knowledge and experiences in materials handling processes and equipment machineries principles of operation
Has working knowledge and experiences in power plant generation process, FGD operations, HV switching and switch gear and steam cycle chemistry
Has working knowledge and experienced in PTW and LOTO system
With minimum of ten (10) years’ working experience in the power generation industry
With valid driver’s license

Duties and Functions:

Manage the development, review and implementation of operating documentation e.g. Instructions, procedures, policies, check sheets etc.
Compile and recommends to the operating manager the annual materials handling budget in accordance with the plant requirements, effective implementation and control of expenditure
Oversee the operations of the materials handling plant to form and report on a complete picture of the plant and production risks at all times
Support the operating manager in the conduct of technical reviews of plant equipment and systems ensuring suitability, optimization of performance and maximizing of efficiency
Manage the effective implementation of operating plant maintenance schedules (PM’S) on identified plant and equipment
Provides technical support for optimization of plant performance
Provides reports to the operating manager with respect to performance of the plant, stock levels, etc. and keep detailed record of all information on the materials handling plant as required

(1) Operating Plant Operator

Male/Female
College graduate, Technical / Engineering
With good communication skills (oral and written)
Must have proficient knowledge of power generation technology and in particular for the plant where he/she will be required to operate
With minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in the power generation industry (assistant plant operator and plant operator duties)
With good interpersonal, communication and motivational skills with a flexible, enthusiastic and committed attitude to work
With excellent command in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Duties and Functions:

Conduct routine plant inspections and report any defects or plant abnormalities to the control room operator or shift supervisor without delay
Operate plant in accordance with the plant operating technical specifications
Interpret alarms, analyze computer logs and alarm printouts
Identify deviation from standards, investigate and recommend and / or implement corrective actions
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the hydrogen gas generation plant
Assists in the operation of bag house, ash conveying, reverse osmosis plant, water treatment plant, industrial waste water treatment plant, electro-chlorination plant, energy recovery generators, fire-fighting system and auxiliary boiler
